AYUMI PATTERSON is a SAG-AFTRA actor from New York City. Born in Japan and raised in Queens, her early exposure to diverse cultures fostered Ayumi's fascination with the human condition.
Ayumi had her acting debut at the Theater for the New City at 17 years old. After some brief time away, Ayumi returned to her home city to actualize her passion for acting. Within the first three months of her career, Ayumi booked roles on Amazon Prime's Golden Globe winning "Mozart in the Jungle", CBS's critically-acclaimed "Blue Bloods", as well as NBC's "Mysteries of Laura", where she was able to speak Japanese, her native language, for the first time on television. She's gone on to act opposite Paul Rudd, Anna Kendrick, and Mariska Hargitay. Ayumi is also a participant in The Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase for 2021.
In addition to her acting endeavors, Ayumi makes indie music and produced her own short, "Five Minutes." As a writer, she has performed pieces in various venues including Bowery Poetry Club and Baby's All Right.
